Sioux City IRIS Update

KWIT General Manager Gretchen Gondek reports it is possible KWIT will be operating at full power again as early as Friday. IRIS volunteers in Sioux City are on alert to possibly report to work Friday morning. IRIS volunteers read The Journal at 8am each day. As you know, damage to a transmission line forced the station to operate at greatly reduced power for the past several weeks and that put IRIS out of business for the duration. Let's keep our fingers crossed !
