Greetings from an Old Friend!

It's been more than a year since our friend Marilyn Von Ahsen left IRIS to move to the St. Louis area with her husband. She sent us a note with a photo to say hello. If you would like her email address, call the IRIS office and we will put you in touch.

Hello from Missouri! I still check the website, and look at the calendar and sometimes listen, so readers I am still watching you! and miss you all very much.

Hard to believe we have been here a year already. I am not working now, along with a lot of other folks around here who really wish they were, so decided to take your fine example and volunteer. I am helping out in the hospice office here in town.

Our kids visit pretty often, and Nathan and Jenna's four day wedding spectacular in May was a great family reunion in Omaha. Barry & Kim got down last month for a Cardinals game - we all agree, fans or not, watching Albert Pujols bat is great! Last weekend we took the grandsons to Grants Farm to see the animals which was a lot of fun. They are fun no matter what we do of course - Keegan just had his fourth birthday and Johann is six months. And a couple of characters let me tell you! They amuse each other greatly, and their grandma.
