Highlights of the IRIS Program Schedule for August 29-September 3, 2011
Hello, IRIS fans! This is Jim Boyd, weekend guy at IRIS, bringing you the highlights of this week's programming on IRIS.
Coming up Monday through Saturday, 9 p.m.: Rick Stageman brings you "Iowa Outdoors", a bi-monthly magazine from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, featuring news and articles about the best Iowa has to offer.
On Wednesday, August 10 at 12 p.m.: "Midweek Shopping Cart" with Deb Headington. Repeated 9 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. on Thursday. Catch all the weekly grocery ads and department store specials!
Thursday, August 18, 9 p.m.: Old Radio Shows, featuring the Lux Radio Theatre presentation of "Dulcy"-starring Zazu Pitts as a well-meaning young wife who tries to aid her husband's business career and winds up getting herself into a series of hilarious tragedies.
